The Scape series (2017-2019) evolved from a fascination with rock formations, which I have photographed for many years. Natural eroded rocks, especially rock platforms along the coast of Sydney, send my mind into a spin - I see cities, alien landscapes and deep time.

This impelled me to cut, grind and abraid into a wide array of materials, to find a new expression with my hands and artworks I could lose myself in. Seeking a similar effect as the rocks that transfixed me, a flipping of readings and a conscious awe.
